June 5 Named “Dr. Henry Lee Day” In Lawrence

   When renowned forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee hits town this year for the annual Southeastern Law Enforcement Training Seminar (SELETS) he will find that a special observance has been named in his honor.

   Members of the Lawrence County Commission have decreed that June 5 be observed as as “Dr. Henry C. Lee Day.” Lee gained fame through his involvement in such high profile murder cases as those involving victim Jon Bennet Ramsey and defendant O.J. Simpson.

   An acclaimed expert in the field of forensic science, Lee has served as key speaker at the SELETS seminar since its inception.
